This partnership will enhance network connectivity at AdaniConneX’s flagship Chennai 1 Data Center facility in the SIPCOT Region.
Ahmedabad, 10 March 2025: AdaniConneX, one of India’s fastest-growing data center providers, and Extreme IX, one of India’s leading Internet exchanges, have collaborated to establish a new networking point-of-presence (PoP) at AdaniConneX’s flagship Chennai 1 Data Center to deliver internet peering and connectivity services in the region.
The live PoP will provide content providers, cloud service providers, enterprises, and ISPs hosted at the AdaniConneX Chennai 1 Data Center with high-speed, low-latency interconnection services, streamlining connectivity without the need for multiple individual connections. This development enables faster, more seamless content delivery and significantly enhances the digital experience for end-users.
Located at Siruseri SIPCOT IT Park, Chennai 1 is one of the most advanced data center facilities in the region. It is powered by renewable energy, and purpose-built to deliver high-performance colocation infrastructure with full-stack managed services and connectivity solutions.
